About the Principal Investigator

Alvin HUI, Student in PhD Social Policy

My current PhD research comprises a mixed-method study that explores the mental health status of British Nationals (Overseas) (BN(O)) migrants, a recent migrant group in the UK.

My research interests centre around poverty and social inequalities in health, with a particular focus on understanding how social factors affect mental health.

Before embarking on my PhD journey, I worked as a research assistant at the School of Public Health and Primary Care, Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).
